We all know that California has the worst reputation when it comes to modified cars. We get hassled at every corner for just about anything you can think of. Because of this, we as Californians have learned to adapt and adopt the way of stealth.

This is when the HKS Sport Exhaust comes in.

Â* Â*The HKS Sport Exhaust for Evo VII VIII and IX has one of the best things going for it. It looks like stock. With a nice beefy sound this exhaust is sure to keep you in good hands. HKS is known for their high quality and attention to detail, and this exhaust shows it. The Sport Exhaust offers full 75mm piping with no taper like other exhaust do. The piping is as straight as possible with the attention to detail to prevent hitting or rubbing of any type. Notice how it doesn't have resonators. No need. The muffler does all the work on this unit leaving a nice and straight passage way for exhaust to escape without being turbulated.

This exhaust is made for the USDM bumper. It will also fit JDM bumper but Tip Modification will be needed in order for it to sit flush like so:

Of Course anyone can tell you how it sounds. But we would rather show you....

* Personal Note*
We installed this exhaust in one of our cars and I do have to say that it sounds great. It reminds me a lot of the HKS Hi-Power exhaust but without the angled shiny bling bling hanging down. We went from the Espiler JGT500 to this and the car didn't seem to lose any power and yet the overall noise did die down a bit which again is great for living in Cali. Overall, we am very happy with this exhaust. If you are looking for a new exhaust but are worried about the PoPos... this is definitely something to look at.

There is currently no short supply of this exhaust however things may change in the coming months.

We find it very difficult to lose a great name like HKS here in the states. The only way they can continue to survive is to show off there true talent in making some of the greatest parts in the world. Massimo Power will be having specials on HKS Products this month so if you are interested in this exhaust or others like it send us a PM or Email. Thanks for your time.

I would imagine this exhaust to be just a tad quieter than the carbon Ti but HKS has been known to not be overly loud.. :)

As for the Modification for the tip we don't do that here you would need to get that done at an exhaust shop. We can recomend one for you that will do it for $20.

is there any chance that hks makes this exhaust for the evo 4-6 (cn9a/cp9a) chassis? and if so is there any chance that you can get it?? thank you very much

I really like that exhaust......

i know this is a longshot, but with similar mods, how does it sound compared to a rre stealth exhaust?

idle / cruising??

anyone in north county san diego area have this exhaust?

Thanks

Here is a sound clip of the rre exhaust....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3cBueDkbMo&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Don't know if the link will work but i just searched rre exhaust on YouTube...

rre exhaust is definitely more muffled due to the big resonators. So it would be a lil quieter that this exhaust. But this exhaust looks exactly like stock and sounds just as quiet at low rpms but when you open up the throttle it really sounds beastly and still not very loud compared to other exhausts..
