I am getting the clutch in my 9 gsr replaced, is it worth spending the extra $1000 to replace all the gears? I am getting this qoute from scm. They said its upgraded gears. I figure I might as well replace as much as I can when the transmission is out.

Is it broken? If it aint broke dont fix it. You can use that 1000 on something else

Disregard. someone sent me some info. no not rebuild the transmission, I just asked them what else I could replace when the transmission was out and the clutch was getting replaced. I am just getting the clutch replaced and the 45k service done.

would it behoove anyone in this same position in the future to replace clutch fork, pins, other high stress components?...during the clutch install.

TOB pressure plate and clutch all that is needed.

I have never replaced a clutch fork on anything I have done or the pins either. No reason to do so unless you just want to waste your money.
