My only gear that grinds! All other gears work perfect but my 4th just began grinding every time now when I shift at rpms over 4k. Is it a simple problem like I need to replace my gear oil or is something worse going on? It only does it at high rpms or if I try to shift into it faster that normal. I really hope my tranny is okay as all my other gears are great! Tell me if I need to put more info about the problem.
Thank you! :mitsu:

Try a different gear oil, Redline, AMSOIL and see if it improves.

Would you use redline over the others?

I been using nothing but Redline for about 2 years now. There are two kinds of Gear oil they offer for the transmission, MT-85 (suppose to be for smoother shifting) and MT-90. Its up to you what you want to try out.

gear oil can help but from what it sounds like is your synchro if off timing

Not fix, it have to be replaced... basically Tranny rebuild :(... Fluid change is your best bet for now.

The only solution would be to try some thick gear oil.

You can't adjust it, its an internal part that needs to be replaced. Like kboi said try running redline mt90 but you'll still most likely have the grind after oil flush

damn.......just called the tranny shop in town and he said if it's a single gear like that it's definitely synchro. 900-1500 to rebuild. This is the part where a vendor sweeps me off my feet lol anyone have some advice?
