I'm pretty sure this has been covered already but I can't seem to find any information.

I just purchased some StopTech brake pads and I was wondering if I can reuse the stock shims for my Evo X. Please let me know when you get a chance.

Thank Everyone,
Rod

YOu can reuse the shims if you like. The Stoptech pads should already come with shims attached to the brake pad itself which renders the use of the stock shims unnecessary.

Good choice on the Stop tech pads.

Dude, so I installed it this weekend and it was pretty straight forward but I am having some noise issue when the car is moving. Why is that? Usually, brakes will make some noises when you step on the brakes. Mine, just makes noise while cruising. WTF?! lol Help please!

I found out that the metal bracket piece in the middle that the pins hold is lose. Do we really need that metal sheet in the top?
