Have you guys met Matt at RRE?
He is an old school customer and a newer school employee.
Matt is interesting because he can do tons of stuff.Â* Need the world's most brutal pressure washer?Â* He can make it.Â* Concrete poured?Â* Wood floors repaired?Â* Car fixed?Â* This dude can do it all.

Today, I was at RRE watching Ruben working on Jay's car from http://jdmego.wordpress.com/ while complaining about those stupid plastic brake guides that cost what?Â* $130 a pair??Â* The last pair I got lasted 2 weeks.Â* The pair before that, a few months?Â* My car came with 2 broken ones.Â* At $130 a pop, I decided not to even bother anymore.Â* Matt overheard this conversation and looked at the part.Â* A minute later I saw him walking by with a big ass sheet of plastic.Â* 5 minutes later, I saw him grinding and polishing and drilling.Â* 5 minutes after that, he was fitting a perfect fix for the plastic part that attaches seamlessly to the OEM broken part.Â* So far so good.Â* Matt can fab these for you for cheap.Â* Go to RRE and get this for your broken OEM piece.Â* My car was a prototype, so I do not know the price but I can guess it will be WAY cheaper than the OEM piece!!

Matt's long luxurious locks.Â* He fit this first prototype with 3m tape.

This one was drilled for bolt holes.Â* These can be customized to not have holes and to be different shapes and etc...
I am stoked on this quick fix for something I will probably break again.

Matt is a rad guy. If you throw some ideas his way about fabbing stuff, there is very little he wouldn't take on. I can see those wheels turning in his mind when you show him something and then, BAM! he just makes it.

haha. that's probably not going to happen for a while BUT if you call, after a few confusing moments, you could probably purchase some over the phone. That is just my guess.

Yeah... well... Matt doesn't really mess around too much on the intarnetz. I'd just print out Jame's original post and take that down there with you. Probably be waaaayyyy easier.
