Thanks again David!

Hey guys that's my car and I just want to let you guys know my about my experience with Rolotech.

This was the first exterior mod I have done to the car besides removing some badges on the trunk. It took me several messages back and forth with David for me to decide on what material I wanted on the roof. First it was CF to match my vortex generator I had just purchased from another member, then it was matt black, then finally gloss black. David was very patient with me and actually helped me decide with his own professional inputs. I am really happy I went with the gloss black (it looks just like painted black) for the look and also the ease of care.

I was able to make a weekend appointment and when I arrived the work started immediately. Also got to see a clear bra they did on some guys Ford, and it looked practically factory. I was actually a bit surprised about how much physicality it takes to apply these 3M sheets to cars! Tugging, pulling, popping, tugging some more... it was great to watch. These guys are pro's and they really paid attention to every detail. David even takes out the roof channel strips to make sure the install looks as clean as possible. It really looks great, better than these pics can show.

It took about 2 hours to complete, with some talking and bullshitting in there as well. I shopped around a few months back and for sure Rolotech prices can't be beat for the quality your receive.

BONUS... my wife even thinks it looks great! And she is my biggest critic when it comes to my car! ha :coolsmiley:

What's the life expectancy, with no garage? Sorry, I know I've read it here somewhere but I don't remember. >.>

If its a high quality vynil then it will last for years in the Sun light and not fade. This vynil is used for exterior sign work and as you can see, that sign work is out in the elements for years on end. Rain or shine, the materials used in the sign work remain looking great. All depending on the quality of the materials.

Allot of vynil actually has ratings that go by years even. Just depends on the quality of the materials being used.

Some car wrap vinyl will last up to 10 years, it all depends on how you take care of your vehicle, for instance a roof wrap will have a 5 year life span and if you garage the car and car wash it then the life span will be a little bit more than 5 years.

After 5 years you fading will appear not Bubbles or peeling.
