TOB + Grease?

Hey guys -

I've just replaced my clutch and TOB.Â*

Do you guys grease in between the TOB and guide shaft?Â*

The service manual only calls for grease where the TOB and clutch fork make contact.Â* It doesn't say anything about the TOB/guide shaft, which is weird since it's metal on metal contact.

It's not metal on metal.. The Realease Bearing is plastic where it contacts it... Grease is not needed because it may cause particles to bind in that area making it harder for the bearing to work correctly..
