Due to horrific parking skills early on when I was parking my car by the Braille method, I managed to f**k up (curb rash 3 of the 4) my BBS X forged wheels and now I'm askingÂ* my amazing fellow forum guys the following question:
I've called a few "curb rash" mobile experts but to get them to return calls is like not happening. I want to know what the procedure/process is to repair curb rash and what tools are used.Â* No, I don't plan on doing a DIY project, but want to know all that is involved.Â* Are they grinded, buffed, scraped, painted, polished etc.? Also, what results on a scale of 1 to 10, is the likely satisfaction level with a pro's repair? I know that chrome or alloy wheels can be repaired, but what about the BBS's?Â*
Thanks to all and Merry Christmas, Happy Hunnakah, and Cool Kwanzaa.

I know this totally does not answer your question but you might want to check out/email/go to

and ask them.
I bought a set of track wheels that had seen better days. They stripped them and refinished them to new condition. I also had them do my calipers. It is now almost a year later and besides the common couple rock chips, the job is still minty fresh.
they might share some info with you, or just fix your damage...
