I have a 2011 gsr with MMCS.
my sound's been cutting out when I go over small bumps of any sort.
It cuts out for minutes, or sometimes seconds but i can see the time of the music still running.
beeping of head unit buttons also stops when sound cuts out as well as bluetooth audio.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Thanks

Have you added a turbo timer or aftermarket alarm? Change any bulbs? if your 100% stock I would just take it back to the dealer and ask them WTF?

UPdate for anyone else running into this petty issue:

Went to HB mitsu, they diagnosed it and thought it was the AMP
well it wasn't.
and now the problem is much worse.
I'll be going back when i can free up some time in my schedule, I remember the service manager saying something about maybe changing the navi unit if their first remedy failed.

To be continued

I'd like to see your updates when you get a chance. 99% of the time, my left speaker's volume is significantly lower than my right speaker but occasionally when I hit a bump, the sound level will come back and the sound is balanced between both until I hit a bump again and the right speaker is back to dominating the sound output.

I havent had time to go into the dealer again.
But my sound is 100% out now.
I will be going in when i get some time in about 2 weeks. So I will try to remember to update this ASAP

My issue was a lose cable on the front passenger door that threw the radio into hush mode. The stereo shop replaced the wire and the radio has been working fine without issue.
