Black fluid leaking from the front

My car is currently at the dealer and I think they are trying to rip me off. Vehicle is still under warrenty has 35,000 miles on it but they are trying not to warrenty because i have act clutch. Before I took it in i was told it was the front diff because its not the color of trany fluid.but the dealer that won't even look at unless I give them $1500 just to figure out the problem and they are trying to say I need a new transmission but the vehicle still drove fine before I had it towed in?? And they haven't looked at it I'm extremely lost and don't know what to do any recommendations please let me know

Take it to Huntington Beach and talk to Sam aka. Smasher.
