Good place in LA area to get a trans. rebuild done?

I need to get my Trans. rebuilt and I want to know of some good places in the LA area that will rebuild it. I don't want to go through a dealer. They tried to rape me for my money and told me it would cost me 4500 to 5000 Gs to get it fixed..... thanks

I went through MAP performance who sent my tranny out to Jack's in colorado. Turn around time was quick as i opted to have one sent to me and i turned mine in and got my core charge back. I spent about 1600ish initially, but in the end only spent about 875ish. I spoke to MAP all through the process and it went smooth, no issues with the tranny.
