A decent amount of shavings to you might be an indecent amount of shavings to me :-P With a pic we might be able to judge better. Prolly too late for that. Syncroshift is a little thin for an EVO. MY-85 is bestest. Fill it up and change it again in 5k miles. See how much comes out again later (more, less or the same) and that will tell you more. Take pics.

He meant MT-85. It's made by Redline. That's what I used last time, and he's who I got it from. The best fluid I have tried.

^That's what everybody use to use, including myself... But recently they came out with the MT-85, which is a much closer viscosity to the OEM Diaqueen.
