View Full Version : MPG go so high !?!?! just weird ??? :(

boost run normally A/F run like normal around 14.7 cruise (PLX wideband m250)
usually avg MPG will be around 19-22 MPG but this pass couple days i got 25-28 MPG just curious
but i check another way by fill up full tank and drive till blink light show up i got about 220 miles on full tank same as usual but avg Mpg still say about 27

Wow what's your guys remedy?? I can't get shit. I use a full tank driving to Irvine from Riverside lol

I know you are on E85 so there is no surprise there. Half the efficency = filling up twice as often.

If you're referring to the dash AVG MPG reading, that thing is always reading too high. only accurate way to measure MPG's on our cars is filling up and calculating with recorded miles you've driven on that tank.

When I had an agressive tune from unnamed tuner, I was getting like 24 MPG. But It kept on giving CEL for lean codes

Dash MPG is $h1t ... I use an app like Gas Cubby for iPhone - I'm sure they have something similar for you Blackberry and Android users ...

I get aroung 240 to 260 before getting a light on a full tank, just depends on how you drive. The dash isn't really that accurate for you avg mpg

I get 20.1 mpg currently; and fill up on the 2nd ULTRA FAST OMGURGONNARUNOUTOFGAS Blink ...
I blame it on the WOT pulls on the onramps daily ... Wish I had better mpg.

and i can like 70mpg for about a second or two while in neutral after I reset my mpg

T3 turbos and special tuning do wonders. ;)
