Hello Everyone, I have been trying to find a "how to" on the fluid change for the T/C for the X. It is not loacated where it was on my 9, and with the turbo square in the way of where I think it is, how in the heck do you change this yourself? If someone has a link to "how to" with pics would be very helpful. I do have a diagram from a Mits service book, but its not very helpful. Need some actual "real" pictures. So if anyone has some let me know.

Thanks O0

Jeff

Thank You for the link. As I was changing the engine oil today I had a better look at how the T/C will be changed. Actually looks easier than the 8/9. We will see haha. I'm having to take my car back to the dealer for gear grinding issues from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. If they have to rebuild the tranny with only 1300 miles on the clock I'm going to be P/O'd to say the least.

What year is your evo?

Sorry, now after reading through the whole thread I assume that your evo is either 2011 or 2012. The X's are pretty notorious for having notchy gear shifts.

Try to granny shift when the car isn't warmed up and then shift fast and precise after it's warmed up. I also got a weighted shift knob which helps out a lot. @ 1300 miles you don't really want them to rip open your brand new tranny. Give it some time and hopefully it'll work out for you.
