Searched and can't find a clear answer, those of you with these springs on your x, how many of you modified the bump stops? And if so in what way? And how many just left the bump stops as is? This is for the swift sports, the red ones not the r spec blue ones
Installed mine 3 weeks ago & did not cut the bumpstops. Have not experienced any "bottoming out" so far. I'm guessing for the subtle drop (1 inch or less) it is not necessary compared to some threads I saw about the Eibach pro-kit.

Yea, I didn't either, I contacted them directly and they said the bump stops require no modification, I love them so far
Me too!I love how it handles so much better. Less nosedive on braking & a lot less body roll. I also have a whiteline rear sway so I cant comment on just how the springs perform but the ride comfort is awesome imo. It's slightly stiffer than stock but not bone jarring.

Had them for 45,000 miles and they are "just right". No bump stop mod here.

Do it, these are good if you wanna add a little more control over stock but don't wanna spend the cash on coils, car feels a lot better.

If buying them new, check out street tuned motorsports, they are 300 flat, no shipping or tax, be sure to get the red ones and not the blue r specs, because for those the drop is a little more and they recommend upgraded struts

Put a set oif these on about a month ago and so far so good. They do improve body roll and lower it just enough to look "good" I have the spec R springs and they are great for daily.
