Driving in dirt

Does anyone know where I can drive in dirt in LA
I've always wanted to do it since I got the Evo but I just don't know where I can go to do it?

If you search, there are some people who do rabbit runs but I think Nate is your best bet for info on rally driving in the So.Cal. region.

The SoCalRally deal is not all competition. You can run just for fun. That is what I do at the track all the time. It takes the stress off and just makes it so you can focus on having fun.

Check out El Mirage dry lake bed. I've been there and it's huge, they hold speed test there the surface is as hard as Tarmac (not sure what it's like in the winter). They filmed the Kanye west Jesus walks video there. I think Ken Gushi the drifter's dad took him there to teach him how to drift.

I think there a dry lake bed in Lacerna valley too

Drove by the lacern valley one a couple times, its a little small but you could still have some fun in it. That one isnt as hard as tarmac though :(
