2010 Evo X MR Touring -i got my car 3 days ago,as you can see all the parts listed in my signature it came with used at 63k miles.
So i realize this car is a beast and im smoking new camaro SS's,then all of a sudden backfire "POP!" then right after a drastic loss in power like 80-90HP.
Rough Idle, deeper exhaust sound ,no smoke, no MIL light, but very bad loss in power, even turbo doesnt spool as loud as use to. also makes a light ticking noise when driving 1-2000rpm??? anyone have any clue?

if you picked the car up from a used car they proboly dont know what they are doing.. sounds like your uicp or a vaccume line popped off

thanks bro, hopefully thats the issue, they are actually taking car to a mitsu specialist, sorry but what is a UICP? I AM A evo noob, haha
uicp = upper intercooler piping, mine has popped off once or twice and it deff makes a nice pop and a dramatic decrease in power and you wont be building any boost meaning no power.. its a very simple fix. it wouldnt hurt to zip tie all your vaccume lines if they arent already

This is not uncommon on the Evo.

Also use TBolt clamps when possible on UICP and LICP.
