Hello, anyone local to downtown los angeles or lives nearby willing to help out a fellow evo enthusiast do a boost leak test?

You should make one or purchase one from a vendor (PPI makes a reasonable unit), and a mini pump can be had for around $100 that will work off your battery. Boost leak test should be performed on a regular basis.
