I wanna close wheel gap on my 2010 GSR but I dont know what springs are good and I dont want to kill my shocks with a bad brand of lowering springs either. I was looking at the swift sport springs and the Tein lowering springs but not sure what I should go with. I could use a little help. Any suggestions?Â* Â*:?

If you are looking for a mild drop the Swift springs and Tanabe GF210 are great springs. If you want a more aggressive drop look at the H&R springs are Eibach prokit. We have had customers run the Eibachs without any problems for over 30k miles.

I had the Eibach's on my X for a little over a year they give a really good drop. I had a 2 finger gap in the back and a 2.5 in the front. Which is pretty good for springs. They also ride pretty good, close to stock.

Eibach prokit is what I had before I switch to coilovers.
It's probably the best spring for X, lowest too.

But then if you are me who bought the springs but deep inside our heart is giving us a voice " go lower go lower go lower"

Then a coilovers is a must.

im riding on swift spec R, rides like stock. Improved body roll and the car just feels better overal.... once you "drop" it, you'll want to go even lower....

I love my GTWORX Tarmac springs! Nice ride height, and great daily driving springs. If you only care about looks a lower spring would look better. I love the look of a super low car but to me they just kill the real world drivability. I've had cars on lower springs and done just fine but after a while it starts feeling like my car has been beat up by all the different road conditions. When I've gone from driving my lowered cars to driving a normal ride height car, it has always felt like such a relief. With these springs I haven't regretted lowering my car once! They give me a better looking stance with less fender gap, improved handling (I also installed Whiteline RCK), and very reasonable street manners, all at an affordable price.

Mild swift springs have 60,000K on them now, both the springs and the Bilstein shocks are fine.

Roughly 1" up front and 1.5" out back. It will get rid of the wheel gap.

Question though? What wheel set up are you running? What size tires? Not that it matters just curious..

I just did the Eibach Pro Kit. Doesn't really seem like I need an alignment. They are a great drop. They feel pretty close to stock and are great for DD.

I would get an alignment after they settle in. Fer sure...

And as others said, I've had my eibachs on for about two years. No problems and a nice drop.

I let mine settle in for about two weeks before getting an alignment.
