This assembly provides up to 80% increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. The Brass Plus material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life. 500 mile break-in highly recommended with this set-up. 300 mile break-in REQUIRED with this set-up.

Evo 8/9/X Rating= 2900LBS Pressure Plate and features a high torque sprung disc with antiburst steel backed Brass Plus facings.

How is the competition clutch for daily driving? I think its time for me to upgrade clutch.

Its about the same as the HDSS. I would say the HDSS is of higher quality though.

Can you do resurfacing of oem flywheel? I need to start looking at new clutch soooooon! My stock is getting that "chatter" when at idle and clutch pedal not engaged.

Mods on DD will b all bolt ons, cams, walbro, injectors on stock turbo and eventually BBK Full in future...this clutch should b able to handle this, correct?

That chatter noise you speak of is just the release bearing making noise.. even if we change it the noise may come back. Its somewhat normal. But this clutch will be great up to 450wtq so you should be more than fine.

And yes we have resurfaced ones at the shop we can quickly swap out so everything can be done while you wait in our Lobby with Free Wi-Fi and Netflix and Amazon Video on our Baller ass 32" TV.
