yeah i know this will be pretty hard to set up since bako is not as big as down in Anaheim... and most people are at work, or working early the next day... hehe...
maybe a twice a month meet would be a start.

i am around north-west area... will be working around truxton. maybe the sonics at olive dr would be pretty big parking lot where we can start a meet.... i know they do a meet every friday night there with some classic cars. not sure if its still happening.

I went with a couple guys from bako and delano. Few times with the guys from norcalevo, met up at lost hills to mod. Couple of guys from cencalevo (hanford, fresno). I hardly talk to these guys since hanford/fresno is far from me. I even went with a Super Street photographer once.

All of my experiences was good except for one...MOD 2008

Going from bako to mod, we stopped by 6 flags to grab some starbucks. Being I was the only evo on stock form, I would always end up at the end of the pack. As we took off and jumped on the freeway, everybody else got on that on-ramp like a bat out of hell...So I was like f*ck it why not. About 5 miles later, I heard a popping sound, I thought to myself, "my car is bone stock, why should it make any popping sound? I dont have anti-lag :excitement:" The ride got rougher, pulled over and realized I had popped the passenger front tire ripped off the wheel and ate a piece of my sideskirts. Not only did I have to get one tire, I had to replace all 4. Mind you this was at 6am on a Saturday, with no tire shop open for a couple of hours. I decided to just drive from Valencia to Long Beach with the spare donut, going about 55. Worst Mod ever.

Like I said. The Evo community in these parts aren't as strong as other areas. Hell, the honda community is way stronger than us. I usually go with a few local friends. I used to roll with Team Empire from fresno/Hanford, and Emperor from the bay, but those were years ago. If you know a couple more Evos in local mini meets, then we can start setting them up.

I heard good things about KTM, Tuning Tech, and Cobb. I've heard positive and negative things about RRE.

I believe in 06', a couple DSM guys went with us to MOD. The past 2 or 3 years, I've been going with a smaller group.

I got the car in 2010 and it has a Works TR-340 package and tune.(cams,exhaust,throttle body,intake,tune) I want to get it tune, hopefully this fall. I want to get a dual tune 91 and E85. I will have it paid off in august and will be looking for 1000cc injectors. I have a walbro 255 fuel pump already so main thing will be the injectors.

I drive by the sylmar one every Saturday haha I'm just lazy to take my jugs.. Plus my ebo is not tuned for E85. I need injectors and fuel pump.

any one in bako have a tactrix cable? I put my evo back to stock for smog and now wont boost past 12 lbs. I think the guy who reflashed my car messed with my wastegate duty cycle settings.
I verified that my solenoid works and the vacuum lines are new from the dealer and connected correctly.

I don't have one. Damn that sucks though. So with your stock set up it only boost 12psi?

Yea. Before I had it flashed on the stock setup it would boost normal spike to 20 and taper to 16 at redline. Now won't go past 12 lbs.
if I put my mbc back in I can boost what I was normally boosting which was 23lbs. It's a big difference that's for sure but was just hoping to boost 20lbs smog it then Switch over to ecu controlled boost with a gm bcs.now I'm stuck until I can get tuned with 12lbs.

It was fun one of the best Friday night drags I have been to... there where 7 evo 8/9s and one X I did all right 12.6 but 116 mph trap time and I got 1250cc I'm only make 382 whp right now cuz of my 8 turbo it's old and my tuner says it's only putting out about 75 percent what it should be probably cuz it has 83000 miles on it lol
