You can get a red/white RCA to 3.5mm at frys for less than $10. Also best buy, radio shack etc. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b326/gsturb0/807C17DE-E348-48FA-A431-034C580E2469-1624-00000223A59BFF11.jpg

If you mean for an iPod to play you can, just need the part and the plug is located behind the cubby. You will need to drill a hole but it has the cutout at the back.

Is there an aux input behind the radio itself on the non-navi's? If it's an ipod/phone, you should just be able to use a regular sync cable and plug it into the usb.

As for the FAST key, it's just a keyfob with an RFID in it so you can leave it in your pocket, walk up to the door, and when you put your hand in the handle, it automatically unlocks. Then, get in the car and start it with the key still in your pocket. It's keyless entry to the next level.

I hate when I drive my wife's outlander (it has the FAST system) around for a few days then I walk up to my evo and start pulling on the handle expecting it to unlock...

FAST key is the alternative to having a key fob to start the car. I actually meant to ask if your Evo had the FUSE option, which included the USB port. I just noticed you have a 2013 so its standard.

you can use the USB to load a thumb drive with all your music files (like mp3s). you can then control them through your steering wheel controls and listen just as you would a CD. unless you needed an aux port specifically for something.

Just bluetooth your ipod

i don't think u can do that with the base head unit, on my 2010 I wasn't able to stream music thru Bluetooth

OP just use rc cables there's a little cover in the compartment right in front of the shifter, lift it up and ull see the plugs for the cables, connect to ur iPod and on ur head unit hold the play button for a few secs, that will take u to aux

My 2010 gsr base has 2 plugs for RCA cables in the cubby hole. Plug in iPod then press and hold CD button for 3 second then it goes into aux mode.

Starting in 2010, you could do it on the Navi, but not the base model. I believe you can do it on the 2013 base model though.

This is on my 2010 gsr base non navi. If 2013 has fuse you should be able to stream music via Bluetooth. So you should not need any wiring or anything. Have you trie pairing your phone to your car?

i have a 2012 base. No rca's and no usb but the bluetooth seems to work! I don't like it though because I have to use my phone to stream music rather than my ipod. Or if other are riding along and want to play their music.

I just came accross this issue in my 2013 Evo. I have the little AUX box but no ports its just empty. my bluetooth has a 2 second delay on it so I need to figure out how to install an aux port in there. Does anyone know where I can get one or how to do it?

Macky

don't know if there is anything you can do anything about the Bluetooth delay. on my previous phone it had the delay when pairing, on my new phone its not there. both Samsung phones.

as far as adding aux inputs, you probably need to see a car audio shop since on later model Evos, there is already a USB port where you can plug a device and listen to music that way.
