Sup guys so i recently purchased a used 2008 evo x gsr. I was wondering what setting it would be best to use when it comes to daily driving my evo x. Tarmac or gravel? I live in cali, so all roads are pretty dry. Let me know, thanks. Have heard mixed reviews about both, so i was wondering if anyone can distinguish between the two. Thanks guys.

Tarmac... Gravel locks up more aggressively, so it can put unneeded strain on your driveline while you are just putting around town. I know a lot of people that use gravel when they are at the track though...

I drive my RA in Tarmac about 95% of the time.

With San Diego roads, as soon as any moisture hits them I'm in gravel mode. Not taking any chances with slippery oily roads.

All this only matters when you are driving hard enough to spin tires and drift around sliding. If that is part of your daily routine, rock on. Tarmac for dry pavement, Gravel for wet, dusty slightly slippery conditions or gravel. Snow for standing on the throttle in mud and snow.
