The Orange County coroner's office on Monday identified a motorcyclist killed in a Costa Mesa crash.

Chad Delorm, 40, of Huntington Beach, was killed after a collision at 3:43 p.m. Sunday when he was heading east on Adams Avenue, just past Royal Palm Drive, when a woman in a 2005 Honda Civic turned left in front of him near the driveway of the Soup Plantation, Costa Mesa police Lt. Greg Scott said in a news release.

The motorcycle hit the passenger side of the Honda.

Delorm was pronounced dead at the scene adjacent to Mesa Verde Center.

The driver, a 62-year-old woman from Costa Mesa, did not appear to have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to the news release. She was questioned and released.

Witnesses are asked to call CMPD Lt. Darren Wood at (714) 754-5264.

Hello all,

I am Ollie, Chad's friend and ex-roommate. Chad was a friend that lived life to the fullest. He loved driving his Evo or his bike to its fullest. He was a friend that sparked everyone's life. His father said that Chad died quick and was without pain. The family hasn't made funeral arrangements yet. However I will notify everyone on this board when I get the time and the date of the funeral.

Hello all,

The friends and family of Chad is having a memorial service near the beach on PCH and goldenwest tomorrow at 6pm. If anyone wants to come by to pay their respects that's where its going to be. Sorry for the lack of notice but the family decided to this quickly and I got the notice just yesterday night.
