I bought my 2003 WW GSR back in 2011 from a dealership in Bellevue, WA.
For whatever reason, I thought my car had originally come from NorCal, but it actually came from Anaheim. The car was purchased from Anaheim Mitsubishi, but delivered to Browning Mazda back in 2003. The car was either sold to someone in Renton, WA or the original owner moved to Renton in 2006.
I moved back to Santa Barbara last year. The only reason I'm looking into this is to understand what's been done to the car so I'm aware of as much as possible the further I get into it. Some, even all, of the modifications may have even been done by the second owner (if there is one, since Carfax reports a new owner if a car is registered in another state apparently).
What was in/on the car when I bought it:
Defi guages (mounted to the dash)
- EGT
- Oil Pressure
- Boost (BAR)
HKS EVC-5
Clutch Master (forget which model) Clutch/flywheel
Evo IX turbo (told it was from second owner)
HKS TBE with JASMA stamped DP
Cusco cross brace (to clear DP)
Hotchkis rear sway bar
Battery>Trunk relocation
Evo IX interior & Tail lights
MR suspension
Enkei RPF1 17x8.5et30
