What up guys? I'm getting my evo 9 tuned by Jon at 5150 for a dual map (91/e85). How long does a dual map usually take? My appointment is at 10:30 and I have work at 11am. I just need to talk to my manager at work and let him know approximately how long I'm gonna be late by.

You may as well call in sick. It will be most of the day for a dual map. Assuming the tune goes smoothly.

It will probably take longer then 30 minutes just to get the car setup on the dyno.

rofl 30 minutes for a tune is like going to a high priced resturaunt and asking to get food togo. If your tuner is legit you could always have someone follow you there drop the car off let them do their thing and have them drop it off at work when they are done i know of a few places that have done that .

Wow, unless it's a shop you'd have to be pretty brave to let someone take your car and rob a bank, I mean tune it and drop it back off to you. So if the tuner blows the motor will he have it towed to your favorite shop and pay for all the damages? Hmmm..

My Mechanic has been with 4 of my cars everytime they get tuned if i unfortuntly cannot make it, also my tuner knows exactly what i have in my cars before hand and what to expect so you figure 40+ years of wrenching & tuning= a pretty conservative tune that i can( and have beat on) with absolutly no issues.

Idk man, I heard this guy named Brian that can tune your car in like 15 min for a fraction of the price... he might even pay you to let him tune it...

(too soon?)
