Asked for a quote for fluid change on my 2010 se and was told I may want to bring my own fluid, for best pricing. I know there is much back anf forth on opinions of alternatives to diaqueen sstf-1. Lately I have seen the motul multi dctf being sold as a replacement. Have you tested this stuff or see any reasion not to use it? What do you recommend using?
Thank you.

Stick with the Diaqueen SSTF-1 unless you want to volunteer your car as a mobile test lab, since for sure there has not been nearly as many miles driven on non-OEM fluids with this trans. At no time has SSTF-1 been shown to harm nor be substandard AFA performance. At best, other fluids *might* work. At worst you just screwed the pooch trying to save a buck. Besides, even if the price difference is $75 per change, over 30K miles, that's a cost of $0.0025 cents per mile.
