Awww thanks Juan! I really appreciate the kind words! What I do is honestly amazing work especially for the pricing!

Thanks I am located in San Diego but I can be mobile as well. I am working on a mobile water filtration/softening system so I can bring that as well. Tap water is not good for the cars.

Not a problem, let me know when you are ready. My car is a testament how anal I am. When I do someone elses car I mentally adopt it as if it was mine. I do not let the car leave unless its done properly. I take great pride in what I do which is why I have flawless feedback. Not many detailers in this world are better, and if they are they are charging a whole lot more than I am. lol

I did some wheels for a member here awhile back. Some of you may have seen these pics but this is the kind of stuff I can do.

Here is a close up of what all the wheels looked like all over. Pretty bad water spotting that was etched into the metal. Owner did not know how to get them out and needed some help. This is where I came in to save the day.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c209/SKILMATIC/details/1.jpg (http://s28.photobucket.com/user/SKILMATIC/media/details/1.jpg.html)

I decided for this particular approach to go with a 5 step comprehensive process.

step 1: wash the wheels and inspect
step 2: heavy cut polish application
step 3: fine cut polish application
step 4: wet diamond polish application
step 5: wheel sealant

Here is the wheel being polished.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c209/SKILMATIC/details/11.jpg (http://s28.photobucket.com/user/SKILMATIC/media/details/11.jpg.html)

Now for the finished look. As you can tell a world of difference and they are now show quality and butter smooth.

Yes I do. But in order to do this properly I remove the wheels and turn the car each direction to get a full cleaning done.

LOL I haven't seen your car in awhile. I would assume you would need at least a moderate package type of detail. I will need to have you fill out a detail questionnaire. If you can please pm me your email so i can send it.

Well considering I did this for roughly 18yrs and was charging those prices long ago yea my VIP clientele usually have a few prancing horses in the stable and some wild Bulls as well. But they all pay because they know at the end of the day the detail they get is the best money can buy. From the mindset, products, experience, knowledge, and application, the detail process is the best of the best. I just wish I had more room and a better detail friendly environment to work in. I almost want to create a clean room for the cars. Also a lift to help get under the car to do concours type detailing. I cod never be a mechanic cause it would take me double the time for a job cause I'd want to clean everything lol

super expensive? His prices are spot on. The thing that takes the most out of a good detail is time, getting every "detail" of the car and making sure it is done correctly is well worth the cash imo. His pictures show that his quality of work is top notch grade A pure 100% Colombian coca...Sorry I got a little carried away lol. Obviously he has different packages for the amount of work and attention your car needs. I think a basic package every 4-5mon. would keep you in good shape. And that's if YOU EVEN CARE to keep your car up to those types of standards. Some could care less, some care more than they should lol.

Delegance Detailing

Thanks rich but he is well aware that my pricing is spot on. He understands what I do is not formulated on quantity rather quality. You can ask him how good his car turned out as well as how easy it is to wash. Thanks again for all the love and support. I know it's not the cheapest in the world, but I do not offer cheap car care and never will.

no i am talking about him charging 3x those prices with a full shop, to me 1k would be an expensive detail. Hey i drive a Ford for work and all those prancing ponies and bulls fear me, as does everyone else. You can't drive a Ferrari if you don't have a license =)
With my new car care equipment (tested yesterday) my baby will need a detail about once every 5-6 months for upkeep.

If you have a pressure washer, I would say get the MTM Hydro Lance, but i am just a novice. I got my hooked up via quick connects putting out hellish amounts of foam at 3000 psi. The rest of the stuff i got after talking to Delegance Detailing. I guess the difference from what I read between foam cannons and foam guns are pressure washer vs regular pressure. They cost almost the same damn thing, so if you have a pressure washer already why not go for the cannon!

3000 PSI!

I got one at a mere 1500 PSI, didnt want to remove any paint or damage anything cleaning around the house.

So instead of Hellish amounts...im only going to get Demonic amounts :)

it should be 30 psi... unless we talk about water cutter, which is maybe that high pressure. A fab builder or Delegance Detailing can confirm average water pressure.

We are talking about pressure from a water pressure system, not water pressure from the house.

I think 30 psi MIGHT be too low for a house.

50-70 is avg. for Resi. I don't even know the size on the pressure washer I have though.

revumbra

Between 50 and 70 psi is regular for a house. Mine is currently set at 60 psi, i know cause i had to buy a new regulator. 3000 psi isn't that much for a gas powered pressure washer. If i put the narrow fan or needle tip on the thing yes it will rip crap apart. However the soap fan or hydro cannon tip aren't bad at all.

Are you open to detail any vehicle? Even your common mom mini van?

Delegance Detailing
11-12-2014, 09:14 PM
I am loving all this detail talk! Just remember when washing your car to not use the needle type nozzles. Always use the fan nozzles I like to use a 40 deg nozzle or higher to make sure its kind to the paint as well as enough power to surface clean contaminants as best as possible. Also remember distance from the nozzle to the paint also plays a role. As a rule of thumb I usually like to stay at least 6inches away from the surface. Now if you use a more concentrated nozzle like a 20 deg nozzle then I would increase that to about 10inches. Also remember you want to wash your car with filtered and softened water. Keep the talk coming!

If it is a car I have not done I usually do not prefer to travel so far due to the unknown factors. I have a ton of stuff that needs to be transported to be ready for everything. There have been times where something came up that I was not equipped for and I had to make the trip twice. I do have a truck but it is a lot of work in packing and hauling. Have you sent me an email yet with your detail questionnaire filled out? This will normally help me determine if a travel would be permissible. Now understand I am coming from San Diego so that will be a bit of a drive but you are near Menifee so it won't be too bad.
