Evo came in for some repairs on the front end

Tear down of front end, lower tie bar needs to be replaced

Replacement oem Lower tie bar came in

New lower tie bar has been installed and painted.

Oem 9 bumper and Se lip are also in, kinda funny they still come painted wicked white.

Customer brought in some aftermarket parts for install. Ets 3.5 and the short route pipe with a mini battery

Looking forward to seeing the end result. Honestly, I haven't really explored this part of the forum before...but wow, great work all around on all these cars! Keep it up!

I don't/can't do bodywork so i really enjoy these threads. I wouldn't have guessed that you could get that lower radiator support brand new like that. You just drill out the spot welds and weld in? The work looks good, honestly i'd never know anything happened.

Seems like so few 8/9s still have the undertray intact these days. Out of the ones that come in that didn't have it ripped off in the collision, how many still have the undertray? 20%? 10%?

Yeap you drill out the spot welds and weld it back in. Then mask it all off and paint it. You can get any part of evo its just the process of welding and cutting and installing it. I would say none come in with a under tray because every shop removes them and asks if they want it back on and they say no lol. I didn't even have a under tray on mine till recently cause the bumper comes with a full on under tray as part of the splitter lol.
