Oh did anyone see that car that was on fire on the 405S right where John Wayne Airport is a few weeks ago? It looked like it was a red Evo VIII/IX.

If I can find a clean Evo, I will pick one up.
I've been keeping an eye on the forums here on a weekday basis.
Thank you for swinging by guys
What year/model?
Maybe one of the last MR, with the Wing.
fully loaded of course!
Yo ultraflip!!! Who owns this place now?
what ever happen to massimo power?
Just stopping by since we can't go out in Cali right now lol.
Still have my Evo IX, since 2006, sitting on 66k miles. It's a garage queen!
Thinking about picking up a CPO 2019 Audi A3 as a daily driver. Still going to keep my Evo. Thoughts?
How much is the sticker on it and does it still have warranty left?
That's a good deal then.
Good like not bad, or good as in I should snatch this up?
I'm also open to other suggestions. Originally I wanted a base 2020 BMW 330i (and still do) since it comes nicely equipped as it is (especially compared to what I've been driving for 13+ years) though I might want to add on that digital instrument panel, but it's a $41k car. It's not out of reach, but it's a lot to spend on a second car.
It's a great price. If you like the car go for it!
I would actually get an RS3 if I find one.
BMW plummet in price once the warranty expires, the Audi not so much.
A used RS3 you mean? If so, I think they're just so recent that there probably aren't a lot out there. But it's a pretty cool car, but a lot of coin and punch, maybe more than I need.
I remember I used to like the VW Golf R, but then figured once you add on the DSG, the base prices for that and the Audi S3 are within around $2,000, which isn't a lot for the nicer label (and a few other things), assuming that you don't need a hatchback. But what always pulled me back was that the S3 was an AWD sedan with hp and torque around 290 -- which is good, but in the end, from a numbers standpoint, it's not much different from my Evo (which again I intend to keep) and would be a bit redundant to spend that much money for a very similar car but more modern and with a lot more luxuries.
I'm familiar with the values decreasing for BMWs (somewhat common knowledge, plus my brother has a 2015 320i that he bought new and we've more or less eyed its value), but I generally keep cars for a while, provided they don't have a lot of problems.
Good point.
Its worth picking up for the price.
