Here is what works best on Evo Xs from my experience:
Intake: Either the Injen, the Bardabe, or the K&N Typhoon. These three come with an UICP. These are the ones that do not screw the fuel trims...
Contact Dents-be-gone. His name is Tino. 562-572-5386. He will come to you. He is fantastic at his craft.
Your most welcome Daniel.
I did not know that the cam angle sensor would become so brittle when you are running an exhaust manifold w/o a heat shield. Apparently the break a lot on tracked cars....
Congratulation. I am happy to have been part of it. I am very very happy for you!!!
I have done a K&N Typhoon intake and it is really good. Trims stay steady at +7%. Check it out on MotoIQ project Evo X.
herrozz. :) imma need another tune soon :) hah ha

Hi no immobilizer code Joey....LOOOOOL
For those of you who are paying attention, the winning ticket for power with the least amount of mods from an Evo X is the following:
1. A good intake (Bardabe, Injen, or K&N Typhoon). Nothing...
I am going to keep this short and sweet. Please keep the drama out of this thread. I have tested and logged more intakes on the Evo X than I could count. The best ones, ie, the ones that do NOT drift...
Hi boys and girls,
I have not posted on SoCalEvo for a long time, but that does not mean that I have stopped tuning. I am still tuning about 1-2 Evos every weekend, weather permitting. The BEST...
Congrats...I am glad my tune helped you win the championship. This makes me very happy.
100 octane is way more available at the track than E85. 100 octane lasts longer in your gas tank than E85.
Hit me up and I will see what I can do to help you. Fill and submit the form in my signature.
Thanks...But what happened to that piston in your sig...Holy Crap!!!
This car belongs to the wonderful crew at Massimo Power. They wanted me to tune their race car. The car had a huge wing on the back and was louder than a screaming girlfriend which was concerning...
You better get this piece ready, I have one customer wanting to buy it. LOL
I am available anytime this week. Just fill and submit the form in my signature so we can set-up an appointment.
This is a 2011 Evo X. For those who have been paying attention, the stock tune on the 2011 Evo X has changed:
1. The timing map at cruise is slightly more aggressive. Why did Mitsu do this? Better...
If you advance the timing in the iginition map in the cruise areas up to 43-44*, then you will get an additional 2-3 mpg. I have have done it on several Evo 10s and it works.
Anything below 30 psi and you are fine on the stock head studs. The Evo headstuds are not like the 1 and 2nd gen Eclipse headstuds. They are much better.
I had an Xede before the ECUflash revolution started. I had it on my Evo 8. That thing was so inconsistent. Sometimes it worked great, but other times it sucked. No piggyback works as well as direct...
I love road tuning...There is only one down side and it starts with a C...LOL
That should be fun...Bring it on :-)
A lot of good technical magazines went under. The ricer magazines are the ones that are left. People do not want to read technical articles. They want to read about body kits and big wings and...
This Evo 8 belongs to forum member HB Evo Owner. The 2003 Evo that he owns was once a project car for Turbo Magazine. The car ran an XEDE back in January 2008. As with most piggy-backs, the XEDE was...
