Have you tried checking all the fuses and the wiring?
I like using Megs clay bar with Pinnacle clay lubricant.
Tomei is failry loud though its deep tone is not annoying at all.
I agree that it is normal to have some injector noise.
I have the Stoptech pads. They work fine and are inexpensive.
How about Michelin's? They are known to have longer tread life, though they are a bit pricey.
