^^ This is Looney Tuning BTW. I had to search my old posts to find my question to Dr. Gray. I forgot to switch back my account to LT. Sorry

Re: 50 Trim Turbo Tune = 415 hp on 91 octane

Almost all the affordable large turbo dyno charts that I have seen shift the power curve to the right. Is there one that does not? Possible, but I have not seen it. If you have a dyno chart for such...

Re: twin scroll turbo kits who has them??

The only thing I do not like about the FR kit is the lack of stealth. I wonder if FR can make a CA stealth manifold that will not affect the early spool up and torque. IMO, a stealth manifold and a...

    Re: nj1266's new favorite post...

SoCal also says that single scroll 3076 turbo rules all, so it must be true. All cool people run single scroll. Evom stupid for running TS 3076. Hitting peak torque at 5000+ rpm is much better than...

Re: twin scroll turbo kits who has them??

This forum is amazing. They cannot criticize the spool up characteristics of the 3076 twin scroll after the data was posted, so now they criticize the welds. Let us be a bit objective shall we. Look...

Re: twin scroll turbo kits who has them??

I took the log for the 3076 twin scroll from the above link and ran it through DataLogLab to get a visual of the spool up with this turbo. As you can see the spool up is very close to stock or FP...

Re: twin scroll turbo kits who has them??

Here is the best thread on the twin scroll 3076. It has everything in it, pics, dyno charts, and logs. Open the logs in the zip file and you will see the amazing spool up (logs have boost numbers)....

    Re: CHOICE ON INJECTORS

What was the IDC by redline? What AFR and boost where you running by redline?

I recently tuned an Evo 9 with tbe/cams/drop-in/denso 720 injectors. Average peak boost was 18.74 psi by redline and...

    Re: CHOICE ON INJECTORS

It is not harder to scale 1000 cc injectors than any other injector. If a tuner takes their time and logs the trims at idle and cruise, there is no reason why you cannot run 1000 cc injectors. 1000...

Re: Idle Quality with RC1000 injectors

The RC 1000 dead time numbers come from the AEM wizard. I think they are way off. The invalid times are lower than those for the PTE 680s. That did not make sense to me. Thanks for confirming that...

Re: The Pill Cured this Evo's Ills

Another way to determine if your car is making more power is to log 2byte airflow. The regular airflow that is logged from the ECU tops out at 1603 hz. The 2 byte airflow goes much higher. You will...

One thing that was not mentioned is the XEDE. I had one of those and it was very inconsistent. One day it owrked well with no knock and the next day the car would knock with it. Finally, I yanked it...

Re: EvoScan 2.0 and MapTracer Edition is out

Darn...One log at a time is almost pointless. For averages to work you will need to compile at least 4 logs into the map tracer chart. Oh well...I will stick to my ver 0.99
