A couple of months before GT4 came out playstation announced that GT4 wil not be online on its release date but there will be an online mode disc that will come out shortly after the release of GT4. The online mode disc will enable gt4 players to go online and test their skills against other players online. Does anybody have any info on its release?

Man I hope it does come out.If you want to race online with a PS2 I would reccomend Toca extreme racing 2,Its as close of a simulator online for PS2 that you can get.Plus you can race EVO'S AND STI'S.

Don't hold your breath - With the PS3 coming out next year and GT5 (or whatever they call it) to come along for the ride, I imaging the next one will have online play.
