    Gay Day '05

    Last Saturday was Mrs. Wav's birthday, so I took her to Disneyland. We got there as the gates opened and we were surrounded by a sea of red shirts!



    It would seem as though October 1st (my wife's b-day) is national gay day. Now I do have friends that are gay, but WTF? Can we have a national straight day? Why do gays go around advertising there sexual preference anyway? We were standing in line at the Autopia (a ride designed for small kids) when this small girl (7 or 8 year old) asked her dad what gay day was. You should have seen the embarrassed look on his face as he was now confronted with giving his young daughter the birds and bees lecture long before he had intended to. I saw shirts printed with stuff like "Spitters are quitters" and
    "Recruiter
    Looking for a few good men

    Maybe all us straight guys should try going to Disneyland wearing shirts that say "I Eat Pussy" or "Dicks are for pussies, not assholes". I wonder how long I could wear a shirt like that in the park before getting kicked out?

    I would...but then we would end up in a political conversation...The only thing that I will refference is what has already been described by a previous post, a father having to explain to his young daughter what "Gay Day" is at a place that is solely designed around the innocence of children...There is right place for everything and Disneyland is not the place for such a statement...

    the day right after this was choc walk that raised money for kids with cancer in children's hospital of orange county...they could have picked a different location for sure. they could have just had a parade like normal gay people.

    That is a shame. My girlfriends sister and brother in law went on this special day 2 years ago. Of course their jaws hit the ground upon entry (no pun intended). Nevertheless, he wrote a letter and got free tickets via the USPS and an apology letter from Disney.

    the funny thing is they try to act like a race or religion thats not being treated equally. Gays are made up of all the same races and religions that throughout history have had some kind of hate inflicted upon them already...black, jews, whites, indians, asians etc.....

    the only thing different about them is there sexual orientation. Nobody should have any special rights or privledges because they prefer dick over pussy!
