Merry XMas Everyone!!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of my Best Friends of the LB Crew!! Thanks for making this a special year for me. You guys kept me in the fold during my "Lancer" daze, and made me feel even cooler when I got my X. With birthday wishes to Secret Santa, and buying eachother's coffee.... You guys are the best. I look forward to 2010, and many more Tuesday nights in the LBC!! I'm even rollin' to the track!! Have a great day! I hope you all received some cool stuff. Even if you didn't... SOMEONE woke you up this morning. Even on HIS day, he is still blessing us!!Â*GOD Bless all of you!
GOD BLESS all of our brave Men & Women of the armed services. Come home safe & sound!!

really I don't like driving fast on the fwy, especially in a group of really obvious cars. If I lead, we will be going the speed limitOriginally Posted by MinusPrevious

Look what I got for my S2000. No more staggered set-up. Yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaa!
4 17x8.5 +58 SSR Type F on closeout from Tirerack for $249 each
4 SRR low style CNC machined and CF center caps for $45 each
4 245/40/17 Hankook Ventus Evo tires for $81.89 each. These tires performed really well in a recent C&D test.
I weighed the stock wheels and tires to see how much the car lost/gained:
Rear stock = 47.4 lbs
SSR+Hankook = 40.8 lbs
6.6 lbs in saved weight
Front stock = 41.4 lbs
SSR+Hankook = 40.8
0.6 lbs in saved weight
So even with the larger wheels/tires upfront, I still saved 1.2 lbs of weight up front.
The car looks way more aggressive with these black wheels than it does with the gay looking silver ones. Black wheels on a silver car really look beastly. Once I saw that combo on Danny's old Evo X, I was sold.
Next up. This suspension http://www.ground-control-store.com/...p/II=752/CA=76 with 440 front and 380 rear, followed by a thick front swaybar and a kick ass West End alignment.
car looks good naji.. after suspension all youll need is Noz hahahahah

Looks good! are those going to be your track tires?
RALLI//////////ART
Wow, that really does look good. Now you just need to lower it, and get a Spoon hard top.
" A fry short of a Happy Meal"
Yes. We are only allowed street tires in the S2000 Challenge street class. I will see how they work on the track. If they do not perform well (rubber squirm caused by too much tread), then I will shave the next set. The rules do not mention that you cannot shave tires. That is one big loop hole :DOriginally Posted by 2muchboost
or this one
" A fry short of a Happy Meal"
I will lower it, but not more than 0.75 inch all around. Lowering too much destroys handling, but that does not stop some people from doing itOriginally Posted by Gear Grinder
It looks good, but it rides too damn low. On the track the tires will tear the front fenders apart even if the fenders are rolled. You might also have deep cuts in the tires from the rear.Originally Posted by Gear Grinder
The top does look great, but I want to keep the car a convertable. That is why I got it.
