Yeah its pretty cool. But in all honesty its not very fast for the power that it makes. And its launch is week in comparison to a RWD. I think that GT-R is only in the 1.5X range which is very week in terms of a drag launch. And the AWD really kills the mph @ only 153 for 1000+ hp, lol.
There are Fox body cars running in the street tire class with a max width allowance of 275's out back going a hell of allot faster E.T./MPH, ripping the tires off of the floor and doing 1.3-.4 60' launches, and doing it with way less power. And no, its not because these Street Tire class cars are way lighter. My buddy Tony runs his Fox body in this class and he had to add led weights in the car to get it to a minimum weight of 3,600 pounds.
But this GT-R is the fastest GT-R there is right now so thats an accomplishment. And I'm not being a hater.. All I'm saying is that this GT-R is okay fast but not amazing in any which way or form, lol.

It might be the fastest sequential trans car. Not sure.
But even if it had a manual transmission the rest of the drive train would be next to break. A manual transmission is very stressful on the rest of the drivetrain components as well as itself. Its like blowing out fuses on an electrical system. What it needs is an Automatic trans. Fuck the bull shit sequential and manual trans. If it had an automatic it would be allot less stressful on the rest of the drivetrain, shift fast as fuck, hold more power, and leave on boost everytime. Automatic Turbo cars run like bats out of hell and are deadly consistent.
Although, if they offered the GT-R in a 6 speed manual I could honestly say I would want one as track toy. That sequential transmission is awesome but its weak. It also has a bunch of stupid issues and bugs that need fixing. It also overheats on warm track days just like a X MR's SST trans.. If they managed to perfect all of the above issues on that sequential trans then I would love it and a manual would become obsolete. A sequential in road racing is equivalent to and automatic in drag racing.
