Hey Gents... San Leandro Mitsubishi quoted me over $1400 for brakes. Does that sound right for a X with about 30k miles? Sounds expensive as hell to me!
BLM: Naji tried to tune my car, but the Gremlins wouldn't let him. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but the car kept leaning out at 5000rpm in 4th. A shop in the Bay said the stock fuel pump couldn't handle the demand with my mods, and suggested a Walbro. Naji figured my stock pump was failing. He never experienced any problems tuning a X with the mods I have. I think my car was an isolated case with Naji. I've heard nothing but great things about his tunes, so I'm taking nothing away from Mr. Looney Tuning. RRE tuned the car with the stock pump. IDK... My car is just weird!!

if u need just a brake job lmk ill do it on your evo just buy the pads you want and if u want to upgrade rotors that too... have have so far 2 evo X did slotted rotors on and brakes on both all around.

WTF $1,400!!!!What were they gonna change? Pads and rotors or just pads with a shitload of labor LOL!?!? Just get some stoptech pads that are like $200 for front and rear and change them out yourself :)

I can help you too dizzy, i have always done my brakes, its an easy ass job, also did my brake lines, 1,400 is way too much.
Go Fast Bits: Agency power 3.5 intercooler, Nisei upper and lower intercooler piping, Aem cold air intake, Kelford 272 Cams and springs, Ultimate racing o2 housing/downpipe, RRE 3 inch test pipe and sideways stealth exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump, JIC Magic FL TAR hard version coilovers, Enkeis Nto3 18x10.5+30 Nitto Nto1's 275/40/18, RRE tuned to 351 hp/353 tq @ 25 psi, Corner balanced and aligned by Darin at West End Alignment.
