    Wrong firing order? any damage?

A friend of mine helped me compression tested the motor today (which came out all good). When he was finishing up, he accidently put the spark plug wires on the wrong spark plugs. He started up the motor and the car was backfiring and idle was bad. Should I worry of any potential damage from this? Next time I probably ask an experienced :mitsu: mechanic for help.

    :?
I didn't even know that was physically possible. Are you running stock coils and wires?
As long as it was noticed quickly, shut off, and not driven that way, there should be no damage.
If it doesn't make power, it's not worth the hour.
