I had 18-9.5 +22 with 245-40 Falken rt615K on my TE37's and they fit perfect,
miss my TE37's switched up to 265-35 and rubbed even with rolled and pulled fenders

Wide as in wheel and/or tire and/or track? Stock or Widebody? Got to be more specific.
You can go with a lower offset and put extra meaty tires, but you'd sacrifice the concavity.
I always liked the "concaved" face on the TE's.

All with stock body. No pull.
Here's 18x9.5 +22 with 245/40/18's. Minimal stretch. 255/35's should be fine as well. Anything wider with +22, might need a pull.

Here's 18x10 +30 with 265/35/18's. Minimal stretch. 285/30's should be fine as well. Anything wider might need a pull.
    In Pressed Graphite:

In Hyper Bronze (shameless plug, these are for sale):

thanks for all the pictures and info! when I said wider...I meant wider width of the wheel. I'm looking at the 18x9.5 but I want wider...more aggressive but only if I can achieve it without stretching my tires too much. I don't mind setting my coils super stiff...I'd prefer not to rub

I like the look of the 18x10 +30 with 265/35/18's.
