    Dyno Database Project: Evo 8 Stock/ish Turbo OVER 325Whp

    All cars tuned by Alfred unless otherwise noted. Guest tuners are common, so if someone spots a mistake, I'll rectify it asap. If one of these is your car, please post up your modifications below and I'll add your details above your dyno chart. If you see you car's dyno and you don't wish it to be listed, say so and I'll immediately remove it. If nothing else, please help me match your real name to your screenname...

    In order from higest peak numbers to lowest:


    Alain Alba (Alan678): This VIII is mind boggling. The light blue graph is a 91 octane tune making 355whp. It was done in late May 07. Then about a week later (June 2nd to be exact), the race tune was done making 416/419. This was done on F & L 111oct Leaded Race Fuel (Pay @ the pump here in Vista, CA at only 6.85 a gallon). The stock components around the performance add-ons are: Stock air box w/scoop, stock intake manifold w/throttle body, stock upper intercooler piping, stock exhaust manifold w/heat shield, stock o2 housing, stock fuel rail, & stock ECU.

    -Dejon Powerhouse metal intake pipe
    -Forced Performance EVO Green Turbo (20g-5-IX)
    -Dejon Powerhouse Manual Boost Controller @ 32 lbs.

    -HKS 272i/272e Camshafts
    -ARP Headstuds
    -FIC 850cc Fuel Injectors dialed in at 713cc
    -Walbro 255lph fuel pump
    -NGK Iridium -Step colder- Spark Plugs (BPR7EIX) (Gapped at .021)
    -Forced Performance Turbo Outlet Pipe
    -Greddy V-Spec Intercooler
    -Greedy Lower Intercooler Pipe

    Paul Navarette@TTech (Evo8you) 383whp/375wtq. Awesome tune, stock turbo on race gas. "03 Evo with '05 turbo hotside, Hks 272-264 cams, walbro 255, denso 720's, apex-i down pipe, hollow cat, espiler cat back, joe-p manual boost controller, arp head studs, Ecuflash by Alfred.


    Julio B (LuxuryBroker): '05 MR.Â* Dynoflash road tune on the 91. Alfred tuned the race gas map. safc on 110 fuel, piper ultimate ralley cams, injen intake w/ upper and lower pipes, injen intercooler, hallman boost controller, denso 720's, fuel pump, works tb, o2 housing, unorthodox pulleys


    Erislie H (Bogey8): Erislie H. - Chris' crazy tune on my old setup on 100 octane and 28 psi. These were my old mods: S-AFC2, denso 720 injectors, 255 Walbro, Dejontool MBC, JDM MR BOV, HKS 264/264 cams, Helix O2 housing, Helix DP, Works Aperture Throttle body, HKS Carbon Ti catback, TT custom hi-flow cat, AEM Intake, ARP headstuds. Everything else was stock.


    Mark B: Unreal torque!


    Tarek E (TheCloser): Like Raymond above, Tarek opted to go big, even though he had a monster tune on his stock turbo.


    Adrian Estrada (screename needed) This VIII is on race fuel and is an easy 11 sec stock turbo Evo. Great torque. Stage 1+ 272 CAMS ETC.


    Alfred Beltran (owner of TT) race fuel, 264 hks cams


    Tom A (Smogrunner): [forum-restricted] Tuned back in the day. Any car above this one on this thread should be an 11 second 1/4 mile capable car. On this exact tune I ran 11.9@115 at Fontana. Original motor, TME 6.5 Turbo, HKS 264I/272E, AMS standard intercooler, Xede with Xedeflash. On Shiv's dyno, this car did 332whp.


    Tad M (Saywhen) sick 11 sec evo with ungodly torque: 369whp/405wtq. Just an '05 Evo with stock turbo, and 1+ mods, race fuel, and Alfred's Ecuflash magic.

    Dan B (nigletsyz): 2003 Evo 8, mods were:Â* 110 octane, 26psi, MBC, 3" TBE, ebay o2, 10.5, walbro, hks 280i/272e, HPF IC piping, K&N typhoon intake, APS dual-vent BOV. Stock intercooler, turbo, and injectors. I still made over 325 whp on the 91 map as well.

    Gus C (screename and modifications needed) Tuned in March, 2007. 366whp. Awesome tune with really conservative AFR's. I'm thinking this was probably a 100octane map. Maybe Gus can enlighten us.

    I also included the dyno run files that Alfred let me have. Runfile 1 was my car with a baseline Xede 91 oct map from Vishnu Tuning, runfile 10 was my last dyno pull which weren't included in your set of files.

    I'll be updating the threads continually as info comes in about exact modifications and type of fuel used. I agree that seeing the pump gas pulls will really help.

    Michael M. on 100 octane, Alfred did a real quick tune for me, I wasn't scheduled for it and he was swamped, but I love it, I know there could have been more but not enough time.

    2003 Evo 8
    mods were:Â* 110 octane, 26psi, MBC, 3" TBE, ebay o2, 10.5, walbro, hks 280i/272e, HPF IC piping, K&N typhoon intake, APS dual-vent BOV.
    Stock intercooler, turbo, and injectors.

    I still made over 325 whp on the 91 map as well.
