    WESTEND Alignment- Yes, Darin Nishimura Is That Good!

    Just got back from West End Alignment and Wow!* What a great place!

    Darin is a great guy! He's precise, knowledgeable, and ON TIME!

    I hate going somewhere and thinking, "Does this guy really know what he is doing??? "

    Not with Darin, You know from the minute you walk in there that this guy knows his SHIT!!

    Anyhow here are some numbers for you “Data-Heads” out there...

    Car: 2005 Evo 8

    Suspension:*
    Apexi N1 (From Apexi Grage Sale, for $800 I couldn't go wrong)

    Weight Modifications: *
    CF Hood, CF Trunk, No Wing, No rear crash beam, No Spare Tire, etc.

    Camber Adjustment:
    Front: -1.75
    Rear:* -0.5

    Total Vehicle Weight (lbs):* 3,043 (With Driver 3,223)

    Corner Weight (lbs):

    * * * * * * *Driver Front:* 1,057* * * * Passenger Front:* 1009
    * * * * * * *Driver Rear:* 657* * * * * * Passenger Front:* 605

    Weight Percentage:

    * * * * * * * * * * * Front:* 62.2%

    Drivers Side:* 51.5%* * *Passenger Side:* 48.5%

    So basically I could get a battery relocation kit, put the stock battery in the trunk on the passenger side, and the car would be nearly perfect!* Not bad for a street car!

    Car feels great- it’s just a lot more fun to drive!

    Yea, great place, and check this out...

    I got there at 11:00, he started right away, and I was out of there at 2:30!!

    - Coilover Install
    - Ride Height Adjustment
    - Corner Balanced
    - Aligned

    Total:* $350 !!!!* (Say What?!?! That's it? Nice!)*

    Rj:* I think, around $200, EVONATE has his done yesterday without the install, maybe he'll post the price..

    i will be going on the 10th... i think its a good 200 for all of the other three.....

    i want an alignment.. and i think that is 100 or right around there....

    I went there on Wednesday and he was great. $90 to align the car with me inside. The guy definitely knows what he is doing.

    -1,75 front. I guess you are not going to the track?
    BTW Darin does my alignment and corner B also (I run -3.3 front and -1.5 rear.

    Yea, Evo8supercar, it's a daily driver- I though I mentioned that in my post, let's see here, yea, at the bottom (in red) there it is...

    I'd like to get out to the track, perhapse this summer/fall, but for now I'm just trying to have a little bit more fun with my car, I mean, because that's what this is all about right?? Having fun??... :?

    I guess missed the daily driver. And yes it's all about having fun, but more cumber more fun=MORE RUBBER ON THE ROAD

    I run 275-17s Hankook Z-211 and RA-1s but like the Hankook best.

    -3.7 Front and -1.8 rear was my first alignment but car was pushing too much and we change it last month, and was much faster.

    boy... i love how he sums up what i just learned in 9months with my car in 5mins...... great guy and he is now forever my suspension guy.....

    from:

    stock setup = "fun"
    islands tires setup = "little more fun love tire life...."

    darin... "well i wont post numbers but...." = stock suspension is no sleeper; and goodbye tires; it was one hell of a ride while u lasted.....LOL
