I have volk ce28n in bronze. They have turned dull because of improper use of wheel cleaners. What is the best way to bring back the shine?

A good polish such as Mother's, etc. Then make sure you coat those wheels with a good wax. That's right, wax 'em just like you do your car. I would first do the metal polish... then the wax polish (I like Meguiars) and then a good wax (Meguiars again). The Meguiars is a 3 step system but you can skip the first one which is a cleaner as the metal polish will take care of that and be more effective as the Meguiars polish is for paint and swirl marks, etc.
Good luck... take some before and after pics too!
Oh yeah.... stay away from those spray on wheel cleaners. Most all of 'em have acids that will corode your wheels finish over time.

what I use to clean my wheels, pretty mild solution
BBS approved!
I use water and only water to clean my wheels, every now and then, I will use a bit of soap.

The Volk bronze is a special finish which is kinda hard to restore properly. There have been a lot of guys using PEANUT butter to restore the shine.... yes, Plain'O PEANUT BUTTER (not chunky).. Â* ... I even tried this on my set of Bronze TE-37 on my Hondas and it works the best....Â* O0Originally Posted by Jordanz3

Peanut oil = good for you. It's not fat like the crap you get in a narsty McDs burger. Imma try peanut butter next time too, lolz.
next time i go to mcdonalds, im going to tell them to use olive oil to fry the fries
