Re: Is this set up safe for my car?

in other news, you can put all of that on without a tune BUT you should drop in a new fuel pump at the same time

all that extra air will enjoy some more fuel to go with it

From what i gather from your post you have the following
Turbo back system, Intake, O2 housing

Out of those things you currently have the Test Pipe and cat back installed

Your question being can you install the o2 housing, down pipe and intake without a tune?
Yes you can! will your car blow up? probably not. Will your car be running less than perfect? almost guranteed.

In other words yes you can install all of those goodies without a major fear of blowing something up. However if you want the most from your modifications and would like to use them to your full potential by all means get tuned!

search stage 1 by scott gray... but i'd get a downpipe before you install the 02 housing (get it installed at the same time)...

best shop to go and ask Q is RRE, MFQ sounds good and TT good luck!

installing a fuel pump does not mean that you'll have some more fuel to go with it.

Although the stock Evolution fuel pump will suffice for most "bolt on" mods, at some point in your modification path, you will want to upgrade the fuel pump to make sure that you never run out of fuel to supply to the cylinders. Note that fuel supply is NOT fuel delivered to the cylinders, but fuel available to be delivered to the cylinders.

install all the parts you listed but add a downpipe as well then when you are ready to get tune buy a install fuelpump.

"At what point should you replace your stock pump? Like we said, it's always best to err on the side of rich and make sure fuel volume available for use is more than you need. The stock pump is fine for bolt-on mods (air filter, exhaust, etc.) and increased boost, but when you begin really opening up the air flow with cams, even higher boost, or are closing in on the 325+ wheel HP mark and are looking for more, we really think that warrants the upgrade"

you dont need a fuel pump. If /when you get injectors, or want to run higher boost / HP, thats when you should get the pump.

The fuel pump is a precaution to a certain point. After that point it is a must, I installed a pump when I installed my first mods just to be on the safe side.

By installing a fuel pump alongside modifications, individuals take proactive steps to ensure an adequate fuel supply to support the increased demands of their upgraded components. This can help prevent fuel delivery issues and potential engine damage caused by insufficient fuel flow.

you can run modifications just remember your cars fuel and air ratio won't be set up for the mixtures. just take it slow and be light on the throttle.
