even with mag reviews, i don't know if i would like the MR twin clutch tranny, maybe because im used to shifting. might take time to get used to if i ever got, but for now, i'll stick with a 9

So in terms of a practical car...the STI will win. Its the fastest. Unless you take it to the track...then the MR is best...but since the car is a practical car now...you can practically throw that warranty in the toilet as thats what mitsu will do if they figure out you took it to the track.
EVO MR would be the best daily driver being it has an "automatic"... and it also is the best chance for Mitsubishi to claim some of that 90%+ share of car buyers that previously wouldn't consider an EVO.
