Drag racers: Fontana street legal event Sat 3/8/08

As usual, tech inspection at 7am and racing start at 9am. Be there early since it'll be a zoo with only first 400 cars get in.
I hope there'll be some Xs. I know at least an X registered to the private drag event on March 22 (Saturday).

I did not see any X's, I did see a new sti. It was a long day. I got 2 passes total and called it a day. Pass #1 was an 11.974 at 112 and pass #2 was a 11.968 @ 112. It was good to talk to some of the guys. Thanks to Alfred and TT for continually keeping my car running good.

The 08 STi is Yimi Sport Tuning's new shop car. I was behind the wheel half the time. All it's got is a turboback and my tune. The stock turbo on the 08 STi is even more pathetically small than the previous years so it only ran a 12.9 at 106mph. Took me till my 3rd run to figure out how to get it out of the hole decently (still bad at 1.87 for the 60ft). Saw quite a few Evo's out there with a few running some very nice times. Too bad none of our tuned Evo customers could make it out today.

Yeah, your silver Evo was a beast, great job on your runs. Great turn out of Evo's as usual. I was there in my GG IX MR. I ran a best of 12.6 but thought I could of done better. I didn't like the way they ran it this time. There were too many cars to do a "free for all" for runs. When they used the run cards I think it worked better.
