sport compact car magazine july 2008 issue

read the article that had some more info on the ralliart that I haven't read on here or evoM while at the airport last night

TC-SST will have a normal and sport mode. No super sport mode.

smaller cams and turbo will be a single scroll rather than twin scroll found in the evo. The article pointed out it would be interesting to slap on the evo X cams and turbo see what will happen.

Mentions the suspension will be in between the regular lancer and evo X in terms of ride comfort.

Can't recall the exact bhp and tq numbers in the article but IRRC it was printed 23xbhp/ 25xTQ

Estimate that the TC-SST can withstand 31xbhp

I want to know the pricing of this thing.

I do too. I'm very reluctant to ditch my VIII for a X but if I could pick up a Ralliart for a sweet price it might be worth it.

The only problem is you can only lightly mod it opposed to a standard transmission. The SST Gear Box uses a wet clutch system that the after market has no idea what to do with. In other word they are still scratching there heads as to how mitsubishi pulled it off in the X, and you will have to go to the dealership for any of your transmission needs(for now at least).

as far as "modability" evo with 5spd>Mitsubishi TC-SST super paddle-powered automatic gearbox
RS STwhy? four doors, two seats, 23 psi of boost...

If i remember right....the clutch in a wet system will last much longer.
