WILL DO SIR,
THANK YOU..
I got mine from RussellM on evom. Just ask for an Evo X map sensor. Mine was $125 shipped. The mods to the ROM are simple and well documented on evom.Originally Posted by silvrEVOIXn818
I have my own JDM MAP sensor. As Timujin said, I will swap it in and change the data in the ECU to allow me to log boost and then swap it out and change the data back to stock. It is a bit tedious, but it is well worth it. Much better than using a gauge that can vary 1-2 psi higher or lower than the actual boost.Originally Posted by GokuSSJ4
My recommendation is to buy one and I will install it for you and change the data in the ECU. This way you will have a permanent stealth way to log boost. On my car I have the JDM sensor connected to an XD-16 gauge set to read boost. It has worked great so far.
count me in soon naji
Whenever your ready, fill and submit the form in my signature and I will give you a weekday tuning date.Originally Posted by llvllattP

Who will be next?
Tuned another Evo 9 today. The guy drove from San Diego. We did not do a baseline since the car had a Gruppe S 3-port. It ended up holding 21.5-22 psi by redline with 15% WGDC to spare. He wants to get an E85 tune once he gets injectors installed.
Who wants to be next?
So far I am able to get 250+ miles per tank on my tune. That is driving with A/C on when needed and getting into the throttle for FWY merging. I feel like I need to upgrade the clutch/tranny soon for insurance.
Best bang for the buck IMHO. Thanks again Naji.
i just need my intake and im ready O0
running stock
do you do dual map tunes (91/E85) ? if so, what is your pricing?
Yes I do. But you need to have your car ready for E85. Here is what you need to install:Originally Posted by hiphopislife
1. RC 1000 CC injectors
2. Gruppe S 3-port Solenoid. We need this so we can have more head room to increase the boost on E85.
3. Switching harness connected to the ECU
I do not do installs. You will have to get these installed then come and see me for a tune.
The cost is $320 for the 91 octane and E85 on the weekday.
I tuned another Evo today. It was an Evo 9 SE. I will post about it shortly in the Evo 9 Tech section.
Who will be next?
Naji
Naji tuned my 9 SE today and WOW. He is a fantastic tuner with a true passion for EVO's and tuning. Looney will spend as much time as needed to make your car perfect. I would have paid twice the amout for this kind of personal service. O0
Thanks again,
Just finished tuning an Evo X. This one is special since it is the first time I was able to log WGDCC with Evoscan. This parameter is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY important to fine tune boost. I was able to hold boost steady at 25.4-25.3 psi from 3300 rpm to 4300 rpm in 4th gear thanks to the fine tuning that you can do whne logging WGDCC. It was unreal.
I will post about the car later on.
So who is next?
can't wait to see the numbers on the X O0
Tuned yet another Evo X with an MBC. Even though we started with non-stock non-tapering boost, it still made almost 30 hp and more than 30 ft-lb of TQ.

Hurry up and get the discount while it lasts.
how long will this be going on??? i will be pickin up my cams/injectors/fuel pump/intake fairly soon.
so id need a quick tune.
do you tune driveability too or just wot???
Until the end of July. I tune for both since we will drive the car at WOT and part throttle.Originally Posted by Ruthless.
