evo 8 engine oil weight and capacity?

anyone thx? about to change oil on my evo 8 for the first time.

You can use 10w-30 mobile 1 from walmart which is like $22 on sale right now i think... and you use about 4.5qts..

after 4.5 qtz let the car idle for a bit.. then turn it off and wait about 5 mins and check it again and see if it needs a little more...

5-30 is better for colder climates but since summer is starting i would suggest 10-30 or 10-40...

But yea you can use it but next oil change def go with something a bit thicker like stated above..

I use 5 qts of Mobil 1 10W-30 Full Synthetic which is the OEM oil for the Evo. Cheapest placed to pickup Mobil 1 is Costco or Walmart.
