Im very new here but I thought I would fill you all in on my experience at RRE which has been nothing but stellar. My car has 1800 miles on it right now and I have since added an AEM intake, Cobb Tuning turbo back exhaust and AMS FMIC with both upper and lower piping kits all installed at RRE. Mike did a fantastic job tuning it and we have actually kept a good log of all the runs made and the power differences.
Here's the tuned with AEM vs un-tuned AEM. I was surprised the car mustered out 310whp with everything else stock.
Next on went the Cobb Tuning turbo back exhaust and back onto the dyno it went.
This chart shows what the tuning picked up alone. +42whp & +30TQ. I was really impressed by the gains across the entire RPM range. No dips anywhere and the car feels so good on the street.
YELLOW = BASELINE PREVIOUS TUNE WITH AEM INTAKE: 313whp 310TQ
PURPLE = ADDED INT, EXH, FMIC WITH PREVIOUS TUNE: 298whp 318TQ
BLUE = INT, EXH, FMIC WITH RE-TUNE: 340whp 348TQ
So now Im at the point where I either add cams or go to a bigger turbo. I am pretty sure Ill do cams before the turbo since I hear its a bitch to remove and install and I really like the thought of making 350whp on a stock turbo. I also want to take the car to some lapping days the way it sits right now. Hopefully Buttonwillow since I want to run some baselines before I go and install the suspension.
